The rental apartments are social housing units and are exclusively intended for individuals registered with SVNK (Sociale Verhuurders Noord-Kennemerland). Candidates must be of legal age, have valid proof of registration, and a suitable income.

Prospective tenants are required to apply for a housing permit from the Municipality of Alkmaar and must meet the applicable conditions.

The apartment complex consists of 15 units, spread over three residential floors: ground floor, first floor, and second floor.

Each apartment has a living area of approximately 50–52 m² and includes a living room, possibly a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, one bedroom, a storage room, and a balcony of approximately 3.5 m².

In some units, the toilet is separate from the bathroom. The apartments are delivered ready for wallpapering and are, in principle, initially rented for a period of 2 years.

These energy-efficient homes are delivered completely gas-free and are connected to the environmentally friendly and sustainable district heating network of HVC (Alkmaar region). Heating of both water and the home is therefore entirely sustainable. The homes are also equipped with solar panels.
